JEE Advanced 2021: This time due to Corona virus, the engineering entrance exam has not been conducted yet. Engineering aspirants are waiting for clarity regarding the dates of Joint Entrance Examination (JEE). Meanwhile, the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur has released the information brochure for JEE-Advanced 2021 this week. While most of the rules remain the same as before, but this time the institute has made some changes in the exam and admission rules keeping in mind the pandemic.
According to the information brochure, students who have cleared JEE Mains in 2020 and could not appear for JEE-Advanced paper last year due to COVID related issues, are allowed to directly register for JEE-Advanced 2021 exam. Will go It will be valid only for JEE-Advanced 2021 and these candidates will be considered as additional than this year's candidates.
Till last year, a candidate had to score 75% or more in class 12 board exam for JEE-Advanced, but this year, the criterion has been changed considering the fact that due to the corona pandemic Class 12th exams were cancelled. As per the brochure, for JEE-Advanced this year, the candidate must have cleared class 12th examination and be among the top 2.5 lakh successful candidates for JEE-Mains 2021 including all categories.
